What is “organic” and why is it so great?

The term "organic" refers to both sustainable farming practices and to products ecologically made from materials produced on certified organic farms. According to federal standards, such products have to be at least 70% organic by non-water, non-salt weight. Organic products not only support sustainable farming, but also farm worker health and ecological processing methods.

We are not currently USDA Certified - but hope to go through the process to become certified as we continue to grow.

Does your soap contain sulfate based surfectants like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)?

Absolutely not!  Most of our cleansing products are made from natural cold processed soap.  Our shampoo contains a gentle corn based surfectant that has been formulated WITHOUT the sulfate molecule - which removes the cancer causing agents.

Do you ship internationally?

Why do you use beeswax in your lip balm?

Although our line is otherwise vegan, we do use certified organic beeswax in the lip balms. Beeswax is a natural antibacterial agent and has sun block qualities also it provides a superior barrier to keep moisture in.  We can customize a lip balm that has vegetable based wax instead.  A minimum order would be required.

When will my order ship?

Usually orders ship within 1-2 business days. For special orders our handing usually take a lot longer due to the fact we make our products fresh. You will receive an email if your order will be delayed and an estimated day of processing. Special order soaps have a curing process of 3 weeks before being shipped.

How much is shipping & handling?

Please note that shipping & handling on orders is determined by the weight, number of items, type of items, size of items, their destination.

Customers are able to see the Shipping & Handling totaled at the “Check Out” screen before any credit card information is entered.

Can I return or Exchange sale items?

All items will be final unless product received is damaged.

What is Theraganics approach to packaging?

At Theraganics we are mindful of the need to reduce our environmental footprint. We achieve this by minimizing our packaging, maximizing the use of post-consumer recycled material, using materials that can be and are recyclable, and by designing our packaging so that the individual parts can be separated for recycling.

What is “Clean the World” program and how does it help?

Theraganics is a member of “Clean the World” program. Everyday in America, millions of pounds of soap and shampoo are discarded. Often ending up in already overflowing landfills and contaminates fragile groundwater systems.

Impoverished people around the world die every day from acute respiratory infections and diarrheal disease because they have no soap. In an effort to prevent these needless deaths from occurring, Clean the World distributes recycled soap products, along with educational materials to impoverished countries worldwide and to domestic homeless shelters.

Are your products vegan?

Yes! All of our products are vegan with the exception of our lip balm. These contain organic beeswax and upon request we can formulate vegan lip balm for purchase.

Do you test products on animals?

Absolutely not!

How do you color your products?

We use all natural clays, botanicals, iron oxides and ultramarines for our colorants.

What do you use to scent your products?

We use 100% natural essential oils.
